Magnetic drive pumps are becoming the standard in systems handling aggressive or potentially hazardous liquids. Depending on their size, performance, and the type of liquid being pumped, they can be entirely made of technopolymers or feature a metallic structure with coatings resistant to aggressive liquids. In all cases, they are characterized by the fact that all static and rotating parts in contact with the fluid are enclosed within a perfectly sealed body, ensured by static seals. The motor transmits motion to the pump impeller through a magnetic coupling, eliminating the need for a connecting shaft and associated rotating seals.
